Dashboard

The WordPress Dashboard is the interface that appears when you log in to the admin section of your WordPress site. It is the first screen you see and serves as the main checkpoint for managing your WordPress site.

The “Appearance” section enables you to manage the visual aspect of your site. In this section, you can select and install themes, customize your current theme, manage menus and widgets, and even edit theme files if you possess programming skills.

The “Plugins” section allows you to add additional functionality to your site. There are tens of thousands of plugins available, ranging from contact forms and image galleries to security and e-commerce plugins.

The “Users” section enables you to manage the individuals who have access to your dashboard. You have the ability to add new users, modify the roles of existing users, and update your own profile information.

In the “Tools” section, you will find various options for importing and exporting content, along with other useful tools to effectively manage your site.

Finally, the “Settings” section is where you can configure your site’s global settings, such as the site title, site address, time zone, and date and time formats.
