Permalink

A permalink is a web address used to access a specific page on your website.

WordPress allows you to manage the structure of a permalink so that your visitors can easily understand the content of a page just by reading its web address (URL).

For instance, you can determine that your contact page will be identified as:

• >www.mysite.com/contact
• www.mysite.com/?p=132
• www.mysite.com/page/contact

Your choice of permalink structure depends on your WordPress site settings. To modify the permalink structure, go to your administration section and then navigate to Settings > Permalink.
