Capacity

An ability is an action that can be performed by a WordPress user. For example, this can include actions such as “creating a page,” “installing a theme,” or “activating an extension.”

Once the capacity is defined, it needs to be associated with a role (e.g., administrator or editor). After the association is complete, the role can be assigned to one or more users, enabling them to perform various actions within a WordPress installation.
