Comment
WordPress allows your website visitors to leave comments. The idea is to encourage interaction with the people who read the content.
It is possible to determine on which pages and articles visitors will be able to leave comments. Many settings are available through the Settings > Discussion menu on your dashboard.
By default, each comment contains:
- the name of the person who commented
- the commenter’s email address
- the address of the commenter’s website
- the date the comment was submitted
- the IP address of the commenter
- the comment in question
- the article (or page) linked to the comment
- comment status (pending moderation, approved, SPAM, recycle bin)
To moderate your comments, you’ll need to go to the Comments section of your dashboard.
